Welcome! Hi All, As this is starting out, just say anything you like and we will go from there!
I was thinking these quotes are a good start for our forum
“There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his is her path is wrong.” — Hindu Proverb
Also from Tony
“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions simply because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

Hello Kolomo and everyone, thanks for setting this up. Agree that we should all have administrative status. Given that it is an open forum, we would still need to accept/reject requests for membership and moderate posts. Are you willing to play that role to start with (we can rotate it over time).
In regard to the title/name of the Forum, my inclination is to make it more general e.g. 'Life's perspectives', or 'I am this and I am That' or a pointer such as 'Ah, this!'. The posts however can come from anyone's model or understanding of what life means and how they live it. Non-duality is one perspective, so is believing in Jesus as my Saviour, or in wu wei, or that getting up in the morning and having breakfast, etc. is sufficient and satisfying. This in itself can be a starting topic for he Forum!

Kolomo hi and thanks for organising a brand new venue. If it's possible would you please delete that last post of mine as it is incorrectly addressed, thank you. It is so nice to find some of the posters here from the forum that was on 'Awakening Clarity Now'. Also hello to Tony, I always enjoyed being able to view those parts of your awareness you were willing to share. Love your life Barry Bee

Hi Barry, all anyone has to do is register and I will switch the account to administrator (that is if you want to). The registration button is up on the right. Then you can delete your own or anyone else’s. There is no one from our past group that I do not fully trust. I would like to get away from the hierarchy that is in so many forms. We all are enlightened beings whether we know it or not and, as Tony has suggested, we can all learn from each other no matter what the particular path may be. Also, personally, I do not see the need for moderators. If you have something to say, just say it and we can all deal and learn from it.
As administrators feel free to change the title or look

Hi Folks, Finally registered.
I will start a thread this weekend as soon as i find how to do it. I'm luke-warm on the name but i understand. I guess what others don't get is how far apart members of non-traditional Nonduality are. It's hard to imagine this title will draw any but we shall see. Most other groups have a Sangha except this my group. Maybe we could announce it to other teachers so we can get more participants. Sorry for being a bummer (1960's term)
Love, a

The idea behind the current title was that any name, such as Non-duality, etc. gives the impression that there is a bias for that way of looking at the world. It may or may not be true until it becomes an experiential reality. I find that as soon as I label myself as 'x' or 'y' I lose the capacity to be open to or hear other perspectives. The post quoting the Buddha's sutra on 'who/what to believe' is a primary attitude behind our inquiries.
Nothing to stop any one, of course, from making a point that comes from any tradition or system. _()_

Hello everyone,
I went back to the first post on this Forum, nearly 1 and a half years ago, to say goodbye. It feels like it's been a very long time since we started!
It also feels like we have somehow reached an end to the discussions. Maybe the main points have been made and what we wanted to say has been said, for the time being.
It has been a rewarding and interesting experience, coming out as it did and following from the Forum Fred Davis established (and then eventually pulled out of).
I got a lot out of it in terms of articulating my own understanding of what IT is and how it relates to my life. We touched on all sorts of topics relevant to the main title "We are all IT!" and explored many different takes, ideas, speculations, insights and experiences. All good stuff! Rather than evaluate it in terms of conceptual understanding, I will remember it as an extended, open and sincere dialogue between human beings who share the same fundamental questions.
I trust it was much the same for you.
All the best to everyone in your life's journey. May they be successful in finding that Peace that surpasses all understanding.
Tony

Tony yes it has been a little quiet and we can only guess why. Everyone shares so much commonality but at the same time we we are so very different physically, emotionally and experientally. Is this because we differ so much in how we percieve the varying aspects of this life we live? I have had a few bombs land in very quick succession and because of our interaction communicating here on this site I can say I am better able to put it all into a much more agreeable perspective. What I now know is - The wanted is generally judged as being good. Whereas the unwanted is not, it's usually always believed to be different shades of bad. But we all seem to want something quite different from our neighbour. So with the incredibly limited awareness of what is known of Totality that these egoic avatars we know as ourselves have, we are judges of how we view this complex structure we know as life. Yet these personalities that are part of part of ourselves know nothing of the myriad complexities of cause and effect, we run this life experience with our guide being only that of whether we view our experiences either as a wanted or an unwanted one in any moment. We have great intelligence don't we of all the underlying causes?.. Well, no we do not. If it's something we judge as unwanted then we label it on the bad side of the spectrum and so we don't like it, and then what happens is we suffer. We are really smart, or so we believe. But why don't we THANK what we label as unwanted? If we can do this then we find that nothing is ever unwanted. If we can find a way to thank what may be generally labelled as unwanted, others may then be asking how could you want that horrible state or thing? Once we experience we can do this we find we have moved from the cause and effect cycle and thus also from the end result which is suffering. Thank you Tony, Kolomo, and all others who have contributed their energy and awareness into this Forum.

Hi Kolomo:
Are we the only two, then? No other survivors?...
We can begin our own discussion, if that's the case.

Well, its been awhile. I noticed a new member so I thought to post. How is everyone doing? I apologize if there was any arrogance on my part in the past. We have had a lot of thoughtful conversations though. It would be nice to hear from anyone.

Solomon hi, how have you been travelling these twisty winding roads we refer to as life? For me there have been many unexpected hills to climb but as we exist in a physical duality I have also enjoyed the coasting downhill. I have thought about this forum sometimes with a sadness that we were not able to attract more participants and maybe it's because a Google search on the subject does not find this site easily. What I am saying is it's my opinion that it would have been nice to have had more participate and also start up different subjects.
